A renound artist born and brought up in wigan working in glass, Deborah now lives in Amsterdam. Her works have been shown around the world along with a solo collection at the Braggiotti Gallery In Amsterdam.

Isherwood Gallery

This site is dedicated to the life and work of the Wigan artist, Lawrence Isherwood.I have been collecting Isherwood’s work for a number of years and decided two years ago to publish the first book covering his life story, with examples of his work from the thirties to the eighties. After two years of research and photographing numerous samples of  Isherwood’s paintings the book is near to completion. I have been given unprecedented access to the family photographs, letters, documents and memorabilia from both Molly Isherwood, the artist’s sister-in-law, and Fraser White, the son of Pat White, who Lawrence lived with for approx. four years in the late seventies.To them I extend my sincere thanks. I have also carried out numerous interviews with people who knew Isherwood in person.

The Mill House Gallery

This stunning gallery in Parbold's historic 18th century windmill, is the main exhibition space and studio of artist James Bartholomew. There are three floors of paintings and also the full range of James' limited edition signed prints. All visitors are welcome.

In the last few months Bonhams Auctioneers of Chester have seen three Isherwoods smash the ceiling price, that was previously recorded for auction works by Isherwood. Collectors are snapping up his best works. Seemingly quality landscapes , London Scenes and of course Wigan Pieces with his original figures.
